Welcome to ufiction! Are you someone who likes to write or wants to be an author? Imagine anything and write it! Use books, movies and TV shows to base them or give ideas. Change the plot in anything, even make a story with familiar characters! Or just write it out with YOUR own characters and very own plot that YOU come up with.

Here, you can build your way to the top of the Author's Community Ladder. How do you get to the very top of that chain ladder? Simple! Enter contests, be nominated, or just write stories and give ideas to the site! If your story is great, you could be nominated and win your very own badges!

RANKS! Want to know what ranks there are? For your age, there are 5 ranks.

New Member: Your first months\weeks\days
Junior Member: You've been around for a bit
Senior Member: You're familiar and have been here for a while now.
Captain: You have been here for a really long time and have wrote more than 20 stories that are approved to be a good length and not crap.
Admiral: You're at the top! You've been here for a long time! You wrote 30 stories that aren't crap, gave ideas to the community, and voted for stories to be nominated!

We have lots of New Members, a couple Junior Members, a couple Senior Members, no Captains, and no Admirals.

Metal Ranks: There are four metal ranks you can earn.
Copper Member: You've just joined the community and this rank can last for a while! Within your base of member status, depending on how long you've been in our fun community.
Bronze Member: You've commented on a couple of stories, know a bit about the site, and have posted at least 3 stories that aren't crap.
Gold Members: You've been in the community for a while, commented and nominated lots of stories, and posted tons of crap free stories. (You only need 1 crap free story to get this rank if you were nominated)
Platinum Member: The final rank! You've been in the community for a long time, nominated a LARGE LARGE number of stories and commented, too. Wrote tons of crap free stories (unless nominated 5 times. If you win 1 full award, you automatically get a promotion to this rank if you qualify for the rest of the requirements)
