A Suite Life on Deck Story
"Morning Bails," The sweet voice of 25-year-old Cody Martin filled his girlfriend's ears, "Rise and shine. Today's the big day!"
The day was here. Family had been waiting, friends were excited, and some enemies were jealous...
CHAPTER 1
All Bailey could think of was her big day with Cody! Finally the day of her dreams was here. The day she'd been planning since she met Cody. In most relationships, planning your wedding early was a little too fast of a relationship, but in their special one, they knew they'd be together forever. Cody promised her that she was his one and only love when they got back together in Bailey's hometown farm.
"Are you ready for this?" Cody asked, "I know I'm a little nervous, but I'm excited for today, too!"
"I feel the same." Bailey smiled. "Shall we go downstairs to make waffles?"
"Waffles on our big day?" Cody laughed, "Puh-lease! Wow... That sounded girly. Now I'm thinking about what Zack would say if he heard me saying that!"
"I miss Zack," Bailey sighed, "But what are we going to eat? You know I don't like pancakes, Mr. Martin!"
"Neither do I, Mrs. Martin." Cody smiled.
"Oh, Cody-Kitten!" Bailey exclaimed, "You know I just love it when you call me that! But seriously, what's going on our plate for breakfast?"
"On our big day we spend all the money I've earned to buy food." Cody grinned.
"So we're going out to eat?" Bailey asked.
"Well, that's what I meant to imply." Cody replied, "Come on, babe. Eat a lot because the wedding is long. We have to get there by a little bit after noon."
Cody got in the car and into the driver's seat. Bailey sat down in the passenger side seat. She smiled at her future husband. He drove them off to their favorite, but expensive, breakfast place. It was an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet! Bailey loved it, and so did Cody.
"My favorite breakfast place!" Bailey exclaimed. "Thank you so much for bringing me here, cutie! I love you so much! You're always doing nice things for me... I sometimes feel like I should be doing nice things for you back."
"Come on, Bails," Cody smiled, "You being my girl is the nicest thing ever! I never thought I'd meet someone who's so perfect for me..."
"Who's this girl you say that is 'so perfect for you', Mr. Martin?" Bailey playfully pretended to be an angry and naggy wife.
"Settle down, I didn't do anything serious with her, baby!" Cody pretended to be the guilty husband.
"Don't you tell me to settle down or call me 'baby'." Bailey snapped playfully.
They both laughed together, like they always understood the exact same humor. Even though Bailey said Cody never made her laugh, it wasn't true. He was the only guy that connected with her and made her laugh with his newer and funnier humor! He'd matured and gotten into more playful jokes with her, and she liked it. She could always get a dose of her sweet Cody whenever she needed to.
Cody looked into her eyes and smiled. It was like the perfect moment to kiss, but they didn't. She stared at his deep blue eyes back. But there was no connection to their lips at the moment whatsoever. Bailey felt like she should've kissed him, Cody felt the same way.
They walked into the entrance of the breakfast buffet. Cody squeezed one of her hands and looked her in the eyes again. Bailey looked at him like it was totally unexpected!
"I felt like I should've done this in the car." Cody smiled.
He put his lips on her, and she grabbed his shirt romantically and pulled in closer. The passion was booming! It was almost as if anyone in the entire restaurant could see the sparks flying from the kiss! They stood there kissing like it was the best feeling in the world.
"Ma'am, sir," The lady repeated, "Excuse me!"
Cody was stunned. He quickly pulled away from her, hearing the lady calling for their attention.
"Thank you," The lady laughed, "Tables are filling up right now. Would you like a table right now, or would you like to continue kissing and allow a new guest to be seated?"
"We'd like to have a table, please," Cody blushed, "Sorry about that... It's our big day, we're a little excited about it."
"I understand," She giggled, "I was like that on my own wedding day!"
Bailey smiled at the woman. She wanted to continue kissing Cody, but she knew the lady would begin to get annoyed if she did. Bailey opened her hand and locked it to her fiance's hand. They both exchanged happy glances and walked into the restaurant.
"You guys know how this works?" The lady asked.
"Yeah." Cody replied.
"Alright, go choose your table and I'll mark it as occupied." She said.
Cody and Bailey nodded and they walked to a booth seat. The lady smiled at them and placed the marker with their number. They walked to the buffet place now to go get their food.
After getting their food, they headed back to their table. They sat next to each other. Bailey wasn't sitting on his lap, but she sat a little more in front. Cody held her stomach gently and kissed her neck.
"Don't you want to eat?" Bailey asked.
"I'm not hungry," Cody said, "All I can think about is you and me; our big day today. It's going to be the day that I've dreamed of all my life! Well, ever since we got into a serious steady relationship..."
"Aw, you're the sweetest guy ever!" Bailey exclaimed and turned around to peck him on the cheek, "I love you so much."
Just then, two people that Cody knew very well slid right on to the other side of the booth. Both of them smiled at him.
"Hi Cody!" The Asian exclaimed.
"It's been long, hasn't it pretty boy?" The other girl asked.
"Uh... Hey girls, kind of nice to see you." Cody was a little annoyed, "Would you mind going somewhere else? I'm kind of on a romantic date with her."
"Save it for dinner, sexy." The girl laughed, "Cody, can I please talk to you for a minute? It's about something really personal, and I'm not comfortable saying it in front of your girlfriend and Barbara."
"Family issues?" Cody asked, "If it is, I understand."
"Yeah, family issues." She lied.
The girl and Cody got up.
"Honey, can I take a moment to talk to her?" Cody asked.
Bailey didn't want to seem like a bad girlfriend, so she let him talk to her. She didn't want to go down the bad trust road again! Winking obviously at the time in Paris the couple shared before the big break up. That was one of the worst days in Bailey's entire life!
But what if that familiar girl stole her Cody away?
"Hi Bailey." Barbara said.
"Hey... Barbara? Is that the name?" Bailey asked, "Nice to see you again."
"Break up with Cody." Barbara demanded.
"No!" Bailey cried. "I love him!"
"Honey, we both know that he belongs with me." Barbara laughed. "He was my middle school boyfriend all along. Then he goes on a boat and we break up, and then he tries to make me jealous, and then we all knew he liked you because he pretended to be your boyfriend! Then you were a jerk to him, and then you still get Cody? Pathetic! You guys don't deserve to be together. He needs a girl like Rena or me."
"Rena!?" Bailey was furious, "He's talking to the girl that tried to take my boyfriend a long time ago? That little... That little pig-stealer!"
"That's the best you could come up with?" Barbara rolled her eyes.
"I came from a farm, give me a break." Bailey snapped.
